Gouache on Board, 2005
I painted this one night after Animation History class. It’s the image that eventually inspired the entire aesthetic of my grad film, SUPERSATURATED. It’s also almost directly lifted from the first episode of Samurai Jack where he gets sent back in time. I don’t remember if I was conscious of that, at the time.
